Mississauga, Ontario-Sugatsune Canada Inc. will showcase a variety of functional hardware products suitable for residential and commercial applications at the Woodworking Machinery and Supply Conference and Expo (WMS) in 2022. The products that Sugatsune plans to display during the three-day exhibition at the International Center from February 24th to 26th include:

The aileron is a cover support kit with adjustable lift assist, free stop and soft closing functions to create a smooth user experience. Aileron is designed to make installation quick and flexible, by clamping it on a hinge to install it to the top of the upper cabinet or top box. The design of the elevator makes room for more storage space.

The aileron device includes Olympia hinges. It is the first product of its kind made with Sugatsune's patented Lapcon technology, which can provide a five-speed adjustable soft close by simply operating the clicker. The mechanism grasps the lid at 0°–30° to prevent it from slamming shut. Sugatsune said that the Olympia hinge has also successfully passed 200,000 cycle tests. (See the video above.)

GS-G series glass showcase hardware has glass door locks, hinges and brackets, which can achieve full coordination and seamless design to match the items in the showcase. There are three sets to choose from-each with three finishes-suitable for different sizes of glass pivot doors in glass-to-glass or glass-to-wood configurations. Depending on the model, this glass display cabinet hardware can support the weight of the glass door from 11 pounds to 110 pounds. Watch the video.

LIN-X800 is a side door system for medium and large doors. It saves space and provides a complete entrance into the inner cabinet. Compared with standard swing doors, the lateral movement of LIN-X800 provides a smaller opening radius. The soft closing ensures smooth movement and safety. For door weights up to 88 pounds, LIN-X800 is ideal for storage rooms, closet entrances, storage rooms or hidden room doors. Designers can use LIN-X800 to achieve a walk-in wardrobe effect through a medium-sized double-door wardrobe. LIN-X800H can accommodate door heights up to 117 5/16". Watch the video.

The FD80 sliding door hardware system can provide embedded or surface-mounted rollers with a load-bearing capacity of up to 176 pounds. The built-in soft closing and soft opening dampers enable the door to move smoothly and safely. Sugatsune describes the FD80 as a "no headache pocket door solution" because it is easy to install and can be adjusted after installation. The company stated that the FD80 has passed a private cycle test of 200,000 openings and closings to ensure durability. The dual rail mechanism of the system allows access to all components from the opening. Watch the video.

The EB series folding brackets are made of 304 stainless steel and are available in three models with different sizes, with a load-bearing capacity of up to 440 pounds. This folding stand locks the flip in the open position and releases it back to the wall or counter by pressing the lever. The EB series is designed for floating tabletops, workstations or path circulation gaps.

The new lever release series for the EB folding stand allows easy operation of larger flaps that use two or more folding stands. There is a pushing mechanism on the handle, which can be activated with only one hand to lock and release the lever. (See the video below.)
